Summer!!

I thought that I was going to have to take summer school in order to graduate next spring, because I am already taking an extra year and would like it not to take forever to be finished with my classes, but turns out that I will not have to suffer through summer to take classes!! Instead I am going to work most of this summer and try to afford to pay for at least one semester, so it will be a fun summer! Hopefully I can make it to the water park and actually enjoy the weather a couple of times.

I am planning a short road trip tomorrow to visit my grandparents and help them with their garage sale that they just had to have this weekend. I hope it goes by smoothly although I am not looking forward to the forty-five minute drive. All I will see is tumbleweed, dirt, road, and more dirt! If all goes as plans I hope to grab a coffee and my new favorite place... Dutch Bros., and then head on out to the big city of Mountain Home.

Happy 2nd Birthday!!

Today Demon, our Siberian husky has turned 2! I bought him a toy at Pet Co that is supposed to entertain them and keep them busy while trying to get the treat out of the toy. On the package it says it will keep them busy for hours, and I thought it would be a good gift.... it took him under 2 minutes to open it! Ridiculous, really but he enjoyed it. I was going to buy him a pop tart, because that is his favorite thing to eat, when we bought him for my dad's 40th birthday the breeder gave us a pop tart to go home with.

This puppy has been a wonderful addition, except for the constant chewing of anything and everything, and the total destruction of the backyard. When spring is officially here it is not going to be fun cleaning up after him. I am not sure what is worse the dog or a two year old?

Well Happy Birthday Demon! Hope you enjoyed your treat for all of five minutes.

A mother always knows...

A few months ago I wanted to get a new mp3 or try an iPod, but I could not decide which one to get. Being a little OCD I searched all the different types of music players, the size capacities, and looked at the reviews to try to help me decide.... I was still undecided after that. My mom has friends that had iPod touches, so I went to meet them and look at their iPod's, I played a game on it, searched the web, and did basic stuff to test out to see if that was what I wanted.

When we were leaving my mother asked me what I thought, and I told her that I was not sure I would ever use the games, Internet, calendar, email, and all that I just wanted a music player that had more than a 2 GB memory. Fast forward a week and I decided I wanted the iPod classic because I would never run out of room.

Needless to say my mother changed my mind, and I ended up buying the iPod touch, I was super excited about it but not really excited about the cost. Since I work at Target I purchased it there with my employee discount and another discount that I had received in the mail for my REDcard. After playing around with it, and adding all different apps that had games and music I was so happy that I went that route instead of the classic.

I guess it is just like they always say...... a mother always knows best!

Trying something new...

I decided to try out twitter, and I can see why people choose to write what they are doing. I would not choose to follow someone because I think that is on the verge of stalking.... at least in my opinion. I do like how you can use your phone, iPhone, or iPod to send a message that way. Now I just need to get that app on my iPod and I will be set...
These are two of the three cats that we have. The black one is Midnight and the other is Hobbes. Midnight is not a cat that wants to be messed with, and Hobbes is one of those cats that you swear must have nine lives or he would not still be alive. We also have a white kitty, Calvin, and he is so silky with blue eyes it is hard not to pick him up.

I find that cats are very interesting because they really do not care about you, they only care that they have food, water, and you meet their needs! What is really crazy is these cats want attention at three in the morning. Really! At three in the morning that is the last thing I want to do.

Pearl

I have decided that everyone has their little quirks. I have about five things that seem to make me that way.
  • One of them is that I like to know the definitions of a person's name, where it was originally from and what it means. My name is originated in the Welsh language and means Pearl.
  • Another is that I am completely disorganized, and once in a while I will clean everything up and state it will never happen again... and it does!
  • The third is I tend to count things. For example if I am walking I will count the grooves in the sidewalk or how many steps I am taking, or if I am in the car I will count the painted lines or the amount of telephone poles we pass, but only if I am not driving.
  • When I start a game I have to continue until I am done with it, Facebook has been my downfall. I started with Farkle and unfortunately it has only gotten worse with me playing other games.
  • I love to shop, and I could shop all day, but I do not want to spend money because then it is gone.
